WOW and Other Random Happenings

These are the beautiful flowers Joe personally delivered to my office on our 10th wedding anniversary last week. Yes, that's right can you believe Joe and I have been married for 10 years? After I showed Joe around my office and he met some of my co-workers we went out to lunch. It was a nice treat, thanks Joe! Joe had taken the day off and made dinner for me too.

We are keeping quite busy around here this fall. I wanted to share some more random pics of things we've been doing.

Henry demanded to have his own big corn. He actually ate way more of it then we all thought he would. Too bad Henry got into the corn on the cob eating late in the season. Now he keeps demanding "big" corn whenever we have corn.

Two cool Dudes!
Henry with what he calls his "Scrabble" board. Daddy constantly has a few Scrabble games going on his smartphone. He actually plays most often with my best friend from highschool who lives out in California. Henry must be listening. Uh, oh we might have another great Scrabble player on our hands when Henry gets bigger. Hahaha, I must laugh since Henry says that phrase, "when I get bigger" I can do this or that quite often. Now he even throws in a "when you get smaller like me you can..." too, too funny.

Recently, Henry's been getting in to helping pick out gifts for peoples birthdays. The things he thinks of to give our quite funny. It all started with my birthday. He wanted to get me chocolate, pretzels and a muffin. With Daddy's help that's what I got.

For Daddy's birthday Henry wanted to get him...
Chocolate cookies, pretzels, beans and carrots.
So, off to the store Henry and I went to get Daddy's present. I thought the beans idea was the funniest. At the store I gave Henry a choice of baked beans or black beans. He chose black beans. Daddy loves either kind.

For Papaw's birthday Henry wanted to get him...
Candy cookies, pretzels, chocolate and a car.

We found Chips Ahoy with Reeses Butter Cups in them, perfect. Of course, Henry wanted to keep the car we picked out for Papaw. Joe added some more excitment to Papaw's gift by getting him some BBQ Pork Jerky. Nana can't wait to see what Henry gets for her birthday.

Last weekend we were outside most of the time due to the beautiful weather we had again. We stopped by this little local farm for some fun for Henry. Soon we'll be sad when we have to pay for Henry to get into all of these places. What's worse is that the adults have to pay too, to supervise.

A cute little trolley car..."it's not a train, Mommy!"

No time limits...woohoo! We pretty much had the place to ourselves.

Henry took awhile to warm up to this tunnel like jumpy house until he realized it had a big...

SLIDE!
Weeeeeeee!

Whoa, cool Papaw let Henry sign his new cast. I wrote his name on it and then Henry later wrote a big H. At Henry's daycare they are learning how to spell their names already. He's known an H is part of his name for quite awhile. When we are out and about he'll point out an H and say, "that's for Henry!"

I believe I made it easier to leave comments so if you are inspired, please leave us a comment.
