Waiting to Trick or Trunk! Minnie Mouse is in Henry's class.
Ready to Trick or Trunk!
Henry's 1st Trick or Trunk with one of his favorite gal pals, Autumn.
Some people go all out with their decorations and costumes.
This couples was the prettiest trunk!
Henry kept asking what everything was before he would put it in his bucket.
See the purple hand? It would grab the kids hands as they tried to get candy out of the bowl. It took Henry 3 tries to get a piece of candy. The first time he was startled as he stepped back from the bowl. It was funny.
Henry collected quite a stash of candy.
This is his first year really trick or treating since last year he was pretty sick on Halloween.
After the "Trick or Trunking" we went back inside to wait for the Magic Show to start.
Henry went right in and sat down.
What a good liitle dragon. He kept his legs criss-crossed and apple-sauced the whole time...
...well most of the time. I would have to stretch my legs too.
Henry did whatever the magician asked the kids to do, such as clapping or putting their arms in the air, or saying the magic words: "Liver Pizza". The kids really enjoyed the show.
At the end all the kids got in line too...
...pet the bunny rabbit!
It was a night of fun for Henry and I. After we got home we had a late dinner and had to have another treat from his bucket o' candy. Once Daddy returns home from his trip, we'll carve our first pumpkin together. On Halloween Henry will be wearing a different costume unless he pitches a fit and wants to wear this one again...! The other costume we have is more car riding friendly for us to trick or treat at some local family and friends houses. This dragon costume was missing in action last year but luckily it fits him perfectly this year.
It's time to go pick out the good stuff from Henry's candy bucket.

What a fun party. Looks like some families really get into decorating their trunks. I never would have thought of that.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun time - and I always heard it called trunk or treat. Can't wait to see his other costume.
ReplyDeleteI love the dragon costume, it is so cute. Glad it turned up. :) Looks like a fun time. We enjoyed the one at our church too.
ReplyDeleteI am slow getting at my e-mail, but I enjoyed seeing Henry's pictures. I remember holding him when he was a baby. He is growing up so fast and so cute. Thanks.
