This weekend Henry enjoyed playing in WATER! After a failed attempt at blowing up his pool last weekend we finally bought an electric pump...woohoo, why didn't we do this sooner. Before leaving to run a few early morning errands, I filled up Henry's pool so the water could warm up a bit and to surprise him.
When Henry woke up, he didn't see his new pool right away. Later, Henry looked out the window and said, "Daddy a pool. A pool for me!" He later commented that there weren't any toys in it.
Of course he found the water gun to be quite fun.
Back to his old ways...Henry is happiest with a couple of cups and a bucket.

Today, after Henry got a haircut we went to check out a FREE park district Splash Park.
Once he got wet, Henry loved it!
Joe and I did not prepare for either of us to join in on the fun. Daddy gave in this time and had fun too.
Joe said, it was not a light mist in the tunnel!
At first, Henry didn't want to go through the tunnel then he loved it.

We will definitely go back, only Joe and I will be more prepared to play in the water too.
There was also a nice park and picnic area at this park too. A great find!
