CARWASH and Monkey's!

Ever since Henry saw a Curious George episode where, yup you got it, George went through a carwash he has been asking to go to a carwash. We finally took him through one last weekend and...

...Henry LOVED IT!

It has been a long time since I've washed my car and it still looks good 5 days later. Thanks, Henry!

Today at school Henry enjoyed Daddy Donut Day. When I picked Henry up he told me he had a chocolate donut. Later, Joe told me it was a Long John donut. Wow, that was probably Henry's first long john donut.

Henry has been eating a lot of donuts with Daddy lately. This picture was taken a couple weeks ago when Henry and Daddy went out on an errand and they stumbled upon a fresh market down by the river in Aurora. They found a vendor there that had hot and fresh donuts!

Another fun event that happened at Henry's school today was a Wild Animal Show. We thought Henry would just see a few lizards and maybe a parrot or something. Nope, instead Henry saw not one but TWO monkeys. One was a BIG one. It was a chimpanzee. Henry told me he saw a "baby monkey" and a "Daddy monkey". Some other animals he saw included a large tortoise, a snake and a tarantula. Apparently, they could put the tarantula on their shirt if they wanted too....eeeek I would not want to!

A couple random pics I had to share...
One morning, Henry told me it was too bright while eating breakfast. When we ask Henry if he wants his sunglasses he'll either say, "yes" or "it's not to bright".

Check out the neat Luna Moth (Actias luna, commonly known as the Luna Moth, is a lime-green, Nearctic Saturniid moth in the family Saturniidae, subfamily Saturniinae.[1] It has a wingspan of up to 4.5 inches (114mm),[2] making it one of the largest moths in North America.) that decided to come out of its cocoon right outside of our garage. This picture isn't zoomed very much, it really was a big insect. I noticed it as I was pulling into the garage. When you looked at it from the side you could still see it's cocoon and its legs weren't fully out of  it yet.

More marker fun at school. Only this time Henry was the only one to blame. He had it on his face too.

  1. Could Henry be any happier in those car wash pictures? What a huge smile!
