Last weekend we went to a family reunion for Joe's Dad's side of the family.
Family came from near and far to reminisce, catch up and celebrate.
We saw a lot of vaguely familiar faces, Joe more than me.
We also had some good laughs at some really old pictures.

The reunion started out quite hot and sticky. Bean bags, basketball, catch, walking up and rolling or running down the BIG hill were some of the activities besides chatting and snacking. After we ate an early dinner/late lunch some thunder clouds rolled in. Soon after it rained really, really HARD for a good 15 minutes or more. Thankfully, we had a covered picnic table area where we all huddled in and waited out the rain.
After the rain, Henry and Max really enjoyed splashing and playing in what were the basketball courts.
Later Joe's cousin Katie joined in on the fun too...
A great memory from this family reunion!
They were all completely soaked when they finally rejoined the group.
Luckily, we came prepared with a 2nd set of clothes for Henry.
A great turnout! Way to go Aunt Debbie for making this reunion happen.
