On Saturday, we went to one of my cousins wedding. They were going to
have an outdoor wedding but Mother Nature decided NOT to cooperate with
that plan. Luckily, they had a "plan B". The wedding took place at the
country club where their reception was held.
Henry was thrilled to ride in a "stretchdid" limo.
He was also happy to debut his classic cars Hawaiian shirt.
A great garage sale find, Mommy!
We were all pretty happy about riding in style to the wedding.
Thanks again, Nancy and Gary!

Henry and his cousins, Mary, Andy, Zack and George Swayne
Henry was most amazed with the carpet (not sure if it really was carpet but it was pretty soft) and the lights on the ceiling. He didn't say much about the mirrors. Later he mentioned that his cousins Dad (Uncle Joe) had a beer in the limo too. Shocking!
Congratulations to Ashley and John Busch!
Ashley's dress was so pretty! She was a beautiful bride!
After their ceremony Mother Nature was kind enough to cooperate so this adventurous and outdoor-sy couple could take pictures outside. I took these pictures from inside with my 30x's zoom camera, nice!
Ashley's Maid of Honor was her sister Amy and her best friend was her Bridesmaid.
It was so nice to go to a wedding with a small bridal party.
Ashley and her family are HUGE IOWA Hawkeye fans, so of course Ashley had to work it in to her wedding day.
Back inside the guests were enjoying the cocktail hour.
Henry happily drank his first kiddie cocktail.
Grandma Powers holding her newest great grandson Reed, at only 3 weeks old. Adorable!
Grandma now has 22 great grandchildren, WOW!

Hey, what happened to Henry's arm?

Love it!
Joe and my Grandma Powers
Joe was making the rounds at the wedding...NOT...on the dance floor though.
Henry and Papaw having a good time.
After Henry saw one of my cousins break dance during a Footloose song; Henry was seen "break dancing" many times. Too too funny!
The first few seconds of this video are funny as Henry gets knocked down by somebody's behind...oops!
Will have to work on the quality of videos in low light...
After all that dancing a young man needs another kiddie cocktail.
Aunt Jennie dancing with all the little girls:
L: Kennedy, Becca, Jacey and Mary
The bride having a good time!
This started out as a girls in the family picture but then a couple of guys, Sam and Todd jumped in too.
Instead of serving cake they had these outdoor themed cookies (pine trees, tents, and canoes that one of my cousins made) which were perfect for the bride and groom as they are avid hikers/campers. They also had fancy brownies too. They did have a small cake for the cake cutting as seen here. The "trees" were part of the table centerpieces. I didn't take a pic of just a centerpiece.
Henry amongst all of the centerpiece flowers as the night winds down.
Proud and relieved parents of the bride, my Aunt Nancy and Uncle Gary!
Great job hosting a beautiful wedding you two! We all had a fantastic time!
A definite sign of a good time.
The hotel was sold out of double rooms when we made our reservation. So, we got a king room with a roll- out bed. Joe really hyped up the roll-out bed for Henry. Henry was excited to have his own little bed. Good job, Joe!
After breakfast on Sunday morning we went swimming. We had the hotel pool all to ourselves again. Henry had fun jumping in and splashing me.
A fun-fun weekend!
