Goebbert's Fun

Last Saturday, we went to Goebbert's one of our favorite fall places to visit.  We went with our friends Jen and Jeff again as it is their favorite fall adventure too.  This year Henry enjoyed all 3 of the "big" attractions, none of which he has participated in, in the past.

Hey, this looks like Papaw's ol' truck that he recently sold.

This pumpkin was REAL.  It was the farms biggest pumpkin weighing in at 807 lbs.

Peek-a-boo!
Jen brought her fancy camera and helped us capture some great photos of all of us, thanks Jen!

1st BIG attraction!
Henry's 1st time on a jumping pillow and he had it all to himself!
The lady by the jumping pillow told us we must visit all 3 of the "big" attractions FIRST because by 11 AM (we got there at 9:30) the place would be really busy, meaning long lines.  She was right, it was pretty busy midday.

2nd BIG attraction....

The big SLIDE!  I think this was new this year!

3rd BIG attraction....
Waiting at the train depot

ALL ABOARD!
Chooo....chooooo!

Woohoo, we enjoyed all 3 of the BIG attractions with very little wait times.
Now, it was on to more fun stuff and favorites at Goebbert's.

Henry was really into climbing on the hay bails this year.
Henry is showing us his "guns"!

Hello Mr. Giraffe!

Feeding the giraffe is always a favorite at Goebbert's.

I thought the following was a good comment that I recently read on a friends blog,
these Pumpkin Farms have so much to do now adays you do almost forget it is a pumpkin farm.

Henry liked feeding this Zebra and a few other animals more than the giraffe, with it's super long and big black tongue.

Happy Henry!

Which one is the real "Robin Banks?"
We had to get out of jail to go see the....

...SWINE DERBY!

Our fun at Goebbert's ended with another crowd favorite, the pig races!

Go pigs go...the winner gets a fresh apple cider donut!

After almost 4 hours of fun we were all tired and ready to head home.

Oh, yeah after 3 tries Henry did go through the small haunted or as he calls it "hunted" house.  Joe said, it wasn't too scrary.
