Last week at school Henry had a very important job. He was the class veterinarian to Frankie and Shiny, class pet Hermit Crabs. Part of Henry's job included taking the crabs home for the weekend. Henry was very excited about his job. Henry told us they weren't visitors they were just crabs.
Henry told us Shiny was very shy. Hmm, maybe Shiny was shy at school but right after we got home Shiny crawled around and then climbed the cage wall. Whoa!

Henry thinks Shiny really liked Winnie the Pooh since he was most active while we were watching a Pooh movie.
Jimmy was a great "crab sitter" too.
He sat here for at least 20 minutes watching the cage.
PM duties: Before bed Henry had to spray the sponge.
Morning duties included spraying the crabs, their climbing wall and rinsing and soaking the sponge again.

No wonder the crabs weren't too eager to come out of their shells.
These crabs were a class pet that Mommy and Daddy didn't mind bringing home for the weekend. Henry did a great job taking care of them.
Good job Henry, looks like a fun job! Jimmy and the crabs had quite a standoff going.
