Aunt Nancy was SO excited to have Henry stay at her house. Notice all the Easter eggs in cups? A silly game they made up together. Nancy even got a brand new box of 64 crayons for Henry, wow! She also got him his very own box of Cheerios...the real thing not the generic kind we get him at Aldi's. Nancy literally wore Henry out shortly after we arrived on Thursday evening. Henry crawled up on Joe's lap and wanted to go to sleep.
Yes, we are all sitting/standing POOL-SIDE!
Yikes, look at those WHITE bodies in the pool.
Henry kept saying, "I go in." This year he may have to take some swimming lessons!
After lots of knitting over the years, Grandma Powers decided to give each of her 15 grandkids an afghan. Wow, what a nice treat for all of us. Thanks, Grandma.
Not all 15 of us were present and we had a couple of great grandkid stand-ins.
Now the silly picture!
While Grandma was downsizing from her duplex down to her condo, one of my Aunt's decided it would be fun to give away all of Grandpa's trophies he had won over the years. He had enough of these to share with all of the GREAT Grandkids. They were pretty excited to get a nice treasure from their Great Grandpa.
My Aunt saved the Miniature Golf trophies for Joe and I even though we aren't GREAT grandkids!
We will treasure those throphies and hope to win some of our own some day.
Proud Grandma and little Ms. Mary who is 5 months old here!
Look at that fancy accessory! My sister is learning after having 3 boys that girls require a lot of accessories!
The morning after the party....Henry is up bright and early helping make pancakes with the Carlson's.
Mmm...yummy pancakes!
On the road again...
Henry passed out for the last 2 hours of our drive home as a result I passed up the chance to get more CHEAP gas before crossing the border. Gas was literally 50 - 60 cents cheaper than our gas at home.
Henry had his arm up behind his head for quite awhile. He's already sleeping how most guys do when they pass out on the couch.

What fun it looks like you all had!! I loved seeing all the photos (especially the ones of the Great-Grandmas)and hearing about the Powers' Christmas party. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThe blanket pictures turned out so cute. I need to get your pics. from the party when you have a chance.
