Henry did have fun at an Easter Egg hunt. We met up with a couple of friends. When we arrived at the egg hunt there was music playing which Henry really, enjoyed...
He was boogying away and some other kids tried to join in on Henry's fun. He loved it! He couldn't figure out how to hold on to his bucket and dance at the same time, though. Luckily, no kids were injured by his flying bucket.
Henry was in a 0-2 age bracket this year. The rules were, NO parents were allowed to follow their kids into the hunt once the whistle was blown...so much for that idea. It didn't take long for the little section Henry had to "hunt" for eggs to be filled with toddlers AND parents, ugh! I still think the Easter Egg Hunts should be called Easter Egg SCRAMBLES! The eggs are all right there, there is no hunting involved.
Henry was quite fascinated with the very first egg he "found". He immeditaley looked inside and that's all he cared about. He didn't understand that he needed to keep on gathering more eggs. It was so cute. Finally, after most of the eggs had been gathered Henry started catching on.

After the egg hunt, while Henry was running around we reenacted another egg hunt with the few eggs he found and some others that a lady came around to give out to the kids who didn't get many eggs. Funny how quickly all the kids learn to get an egg and pop it open to see what's inside.

| Henry still mentions that the Easter Bunny gave him brand new JEEPS, (not PEEPS) for Easter! Henry's hands look really BIG in this picture, don't they? |
The Easter Bunny just keeps on giving at our house this week. A couple of Joe's Aunts and his Grandma passed along a few baskets from the Easter Bunny for Henry too. Thank you!
Henry has since kept up his tradition of getting sick on or around the holidays. He has a double ear infection along with a cough that may have all been caused by allergies. Poor little guy. He managed to be healthy for TWO full months (February and March) so his immunity seems to be building up slowly.

The picture of him dancing is awesome! He'll be ready for Powers' family weddings.
ReplyDeleteTaxis must have come down a rung. Jeeps are on top of the ladder now!

The Jeeps comments are hilarious. Papaw needs more Jeeps. Jeeps not Peeps. Sounds like a good thing to me.
