Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (Part II and III)

We tried a new rice krispie creation this year...we like the train mold we used last year better.  These were supposed to be houses but the shapes weren't very well defined like the train molds.

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Aunt Debbie's.  Isn't her tree beautiful?

Henry is standing on an ottoman, in case you were wondering if he really was almost as tall as his grandparents already, hehehe.

I was smart this year and took these pics soon after we arrived.

Another set of new pj's.  These will be good for next year too.

Thanks Aunt Debbie and Reggie for hosting Christmas Eve for us all.
Debbie you did a great job on all the main course food again, mmm!

We almost forgot to leave out our goodies for Santa.

Henry saved that super-sugary covered Santa cookie just for Santa.  We left Santa some milk in a special mug so he would remember who we are too.  Henry also left Santa a reminder of the item he asked for, a cement mixer.

Ohhh, the anticipation of Christmas day has arrived.
Henry didn't wake up until 8:00, woohoo!  Too bad Mommy still woke up early.

Whoa, look at all that stuff peeking out of Henry's stocking.

Cool, "H" paper.

Shockingly, Mommy still has her "J" paper that was given to her when she was little.
Santa knows Henry so well...I see a monster truck school bus, a Mike Wazowski Pez dispenser, pencils and all kinds of yummy goodies.

Woohoo, Santa remembered the most important thing of all, a cement mixer.
This one will go with his CAT dump truck too, just like Henry requested.

Jimmy and Lily enjoyed their stockings too.

After stockings we took a break for breakfast.
Henry tried out one of his silly mustaches Santa brought him.

After breakfast it was present opening time.
Just like last year, Henry had to build a tower with his presents.

Since Henry wants to be an animal doctor when he grows up, we decided it was time to get him a vet set so he can practice.

Mommy and her totally awesome Sully hat.

I decided it was time to make a photo gift for myself since I am the one who takes most of the pictures and then organizes all the pictures, etc.  I made 2 plates, one of Mommy and Henry fun and the 2nd one of Daddy and Henry fun.

I saw these on clearance awhile ago and decided they looked like a fun gift for Joe and Henry.
They are quite funny so far....stay tuned for more details...!

Aha, one last big surprise for Henry, an art easel.

We got the idea for this gift after going to a friends birthday party.
Henry is really into drawing and coloring lately so the timing of this gift is perfect.

After a short rest in the afternoon we headed to Woodstock to celebrate Christmas with Joe's Mom's side of the family.  We had a nice time.  I didn't get any pics, :( .  I should have taken a pic of Henry in front of the really big REAL Christmas tree Mary and Rod (the hosts) had, it was quite nice.

We hope everybody enjoyed their Christmas holiday as well.  We had another beautiful white Christmas around here.  A white Christmas aslways sounds nice until you have to drive in it.
