We started our weekend off with the viewing of the Larsen Light Show lights...a ginourmous house in the boonies of Elburn with a fantastic Christmas light show. If you live in the area this show is a must see.
There was quite a line of cars in front of us when we first turned on the street but suprisingly it didn't take to long to get close! We parked this year but probably won't again since you do get trapped.
This video is Carol The Bells
They have more videos on YouTube and you can check out their website for FAQ, such as how many lights, how long set up takes, etc...
Henry and Daddy enjoying the "Fur Elise" show.
Check it out on youtube, it's AWESOME!
We finished off our weekend with Christmas Part I at Papaw and Nana's.
Nana recently found out that Henry didn't have any footie pj's for this winter season. This is a big no-no in her book. We have plenty of 5T footies for next year (hand-me-downs), I don't know what happened to this year's supply.
The morning after wearing these pj's to bed Henry said he really liked them because he didn't have to pick out a shirt or pants when it was time to get ready for bed.
Nana, Papaw and Henry checking out the annual Grandkids calendar.
Cool, thanks Papaw-Nana!
Henry still loves building all kinds of things with his blocks.
This will make his creations even more fun.
A little blurry, but still a good pic.
Henry "dressed up" for Christmas Round I, thanks to Lisa for giving him another "pretend tie" shirt. This one even has a "pretend collar" too.
Merry Christmas to all!
PS. Not long after we put Henry to bed tonight. He was whining and sounded upset. I went to check on him and he said, he couldn't sleep because he didn't make a real list for Santa. He didn't think his one request of a cement mixer and later an airplane was enough. He wanted more things. I told him not to worry we got him plenty of other gifts. He sighed in relief. Then when I was about to leave he said, "It's to hard to sleep when its this close to Christmas!" Hahaha, so true! Love it!

Wow, you aren't kidding about a ginormous house! That place is huge. I like the bright sparkly lights near the very end. Thanks for sharing, Dude.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, that house is huge! I can't believe people do all that but it is neat that they do. Great pics. with M&D. I bet it was hard to sleep, he gets it now!
