Saturday morning Joe took Henry to get a haircut for the first time, since I usually take Henry to get haircuts. Whoa...Henry came back with the shortest hair he's ever had since he's had hair. He looks like a new little boy. I'm still not used to Henry with so much less hair. The biggest difference is in the back (see Hippo pic below). I told Joe with this haircut Henry's hair won't all be standing up after he goes down a slide!
Whenever Joe and I come back from getting a haircut, Henry asks if we got a lollipop, hahaha!
After lunch on Saturday, we headed out for our little adventure. We wanted Henry to take a nap on the way...he did for about 35 minutes, phewee. After we got to Schaumburg, we checked into the hotel before we took Henry to his first surprise...
Grrrrrrrr!
Lego Land at the Streets of Woodfield!
Henry's always liked Hippo's!
We saw this lion while we waiting in line for...
...the totally cool 4D movie. It was 4D since there were gusts of wind and light mists of rain dispersed out in the crowd. Henry really liked the movie. He says it was his favorite part, Joe and I definitely agree. Joe said a couple of times when things came at us Henry sat back farther in his seat. A few times, I saw kids in the crowd reaching out to grab things too. I wish I took a picture of the little baby next to us who looked over at us a few times and yup, he had his glasses on. 3D glasses on a baby is a hilarious sight!
After our Lego Land visit we went to Meatheads for dinner. We all got tasty burgers and fries! Then we went back to the hotel and vegged out. Lights were out for all of us at 9:30 PM. We were all tired and we all slept well too...until 7 AM.
Sunday morning we enjoyed some more vegging out before heading out to the Woodfield Mall for Henry's next special treat.

Henry and Daddy leaving the hotel!
This is the only good picture we got while at the Rainforest Cafe. Henry thought the scenery and the fish were pretty cool. We saw quite a few "Dori" fish, no "Nemo's" though. It was pretty dark inside this restaurant hence why we didn't get any other good pictures. I wanted to take one of Henry by one of the aquariums but we didn't get a chance to. Henry will really enjoy a visit to an aquarium some day!
After lunch, before we headed home we wandered around the Woodfield Mall some. Wow, what a maze that place is.
Henry needed a snack break even though we just had lunch. He didn't eat much since he had been munching pretty much all morning and the cafe had lots of distractions.
Henry really liked all the different levels at this mall. We went up and down a few escalators. Rode in the glass elevator. Walked up and down some steps. We were really only in one area of the mall too. Wow, what a large, crazy mall. Definitely not a good mall to be in or near around the holidays.

Henry was smiling in all the pictures...a happy little boy who knows he has great parents.
