Merry Christmas!
Our tree with presents under it.
Henry is definitely at the age when no presents can go under the tree until the wee hours of Christmas Eve.
Christmas morning finally arrived! This year will probably be the only year that Joe and I were able to sleep in. We had to wake Henry up since he slept until 9. We were ready for the Christmas fun to begin.
Alright, Santa knows Henry so well.
He filled his stocking with some new cars including a police motorcycle.
Ahhh, thanks Santa for all the goodies.
Wow, Santa brought Mommy a new toy car too with her favorite color on it.
Santa didn't forget to fill Lily and Jimmy's stockings too.
Whoa, Henry got another "Henry" train from the Thomas trains collection.
One last thing from Santa.
Henry asked Santa for a marble run toy and Santa didn't forget!
This is our first present from Henry that neither one of us knew about. We love it! "Herny" may become a nick name in the future. Henry even noticed it. He started saying the letters out loud and when he got to the R first he paused and was confused. Hahaha! I love that Robert, my old Cabbage Patch doll is in the picture with Henry, oops I mean "Herny"!
Mmm, Henry's new hamper got really hungry!
Later in the afternoon, we went to Woodstock to celebrate Christmas with Joe's Mom's side of the family.
Henry is always happy to eat!
Fireman Hank to the rescue. Once Henry discovered the loft he didn't want to go back downstairs since they had a train set, this firetruck tent and all kinds of other toys to play with. The only way we got him back downstairs was to open presents.
Henry hanging out with Grandma Connie and her Aunt Jeanette.
First, it was just Henry and Jeanette on the couch and he was chatting away. He counted both of their presents and was happy to report that he had 4 and Jeanette had 3 presents. Later, Henry found out Jeanette was 89 and he said, "Wow, that's a big number!"
One of Henry's new toys, a race track. Ahhh, it's already beginning.
See the wooden tunnel Henry helped Daddy make at the end?
One more Christmas celebration still to come...well technically two if you count our trip to Iowa in January.

I love the Herny picture frame. Looks like Henry had a great Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHis smile and pose after he did his stocking is hilarious. Sean and I had a good chuckle over that one. Looks like a good Christmas.
