Thanksgiving Part I



Welcome to the family Mary Margaret!

Mmm....good thing we decided to go down and meet our newest niece and spend Thanksgiving with the Swayne's. We ate really, really well! Who eats just Turkey on Thanksgiving anymore....not the Swayne's! We had brisket, pork and duck in addition to a good ol' turkey.  Thanks for the delicious feast, Jennie and Joe!



Henry was quite happy sitting at the kid table this year with his cousins! We shouldn't have been surprised that he sat their so nicely during all the meals. Henry loves to eat and drink his milk.

Mary needed another nap before we ate pie! Isn't she precious?

Time for pie. Henry discovered he really likes pie...

Henry sharing Grandma's pumpkin pie. How did Henry get Grandma to share her pumpkin pie? She LOVES it so much. Uncle Joe literally made this pie from scratch. He cleaned out his own pumpkin and then roasted his own filling. Mmmm....it turned out really good! Way to go Joe S.!

Later all the kids (and one big kid too) watched Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving. Henry doesn't watch much TV so this was a real treat for him too. I was in the kitchen helping with the dishes when I heard all this silly laughing from Henry. I peeked out and Snoopy was stuck in a lawn chair. Henry kept laughing and giggling. He thought it was so funny. I thought it was funny seeing what makes Henry laugh. Now, I can't wait to watch Charlie Brown's Christmas special with Henry.
