We went to the Cosley Zoo, a small park district zoo in Wheaton. They have lots of farm animals and some local animals such as foxes, deer and owls too. Henry enjoyed the chickens most.

We also discovered that Henry really likes pumpkins. As soon as we got near them he was getting really excited and "conducting" (flailing his arms about in the air) and squealing. So we had to let him get out and sit with the pumpkins again.

Henry also sat on a haystack for the first time which he was pretty happy about too.

We don't think he'll scare any birds away!

Mommy really wants to let Henry play in a pile of leaves so if anybody local around here has lots of leaves in their yard let us know!
After our zoo visit we stopped by a friends house to visit and see Liam again who is now 5 months old. It's crazy how much a baby changes in the first year! Henry had to show off his "rockin" outfit too.

We've been enjoying the unseasonably WARM temperatures October has blessed us with so far. I'm sure by Halloween it will be sleeting outside!
Look at those smiles. Forget the professional photos, these are great. :) Looking forward to seeing the "official" photos too.
