End of Spring Break

On April 1st, the boys painted some pottery goods while Kelly and I went shopping in some boutique stores.

Henry picked out a turtle to paint.

Jonathan painted a dog bowl for their new dog.

Looks good Henry!

All done!
We had to leave Henry's turtle behind so it could be baked in the oven. Kelly's parents are visiting in May so they will thankfully rescue Henry's turtle and bring it home with them.

Great, job Jonathan on Gracie's water bowl!

My 2 silly piggies and bacon lovers!

April 2nd arrived and it was our last day in NC.
We ended our trip well with a visit to a Lego show in Raleigh.
Henry made his own Lego guy.
They had bins of heads, bodies, hair or hats and accessories to choose from.

Lego art

Hey, look at that some familiar skyscrapers!

This spinner was made out of Lego's.

There were a bunch of super large ships.

Henry played a Lego guitar and built a Lego creation from a giant pile of Lego's (he couldn't keep it). It was nice to see some new Lego scenes as we have been to many Lego shows at home. It was a fun way to end our trip.

Our final stop before heading to the airport was to eat BBQ at Clyde Cooper's. It was authentic Carolina BBQ. It was good except for one thing...Henry and Joe got pink lemonade but it was super sweet. Henry said, "I don't want to drink this ever again." I had to share my water with Henry.

We had a great time in NC/SC for our 1st official spring break trip with Henry.
Thanks to Kelly and Jonathan for being great hosts and helping fill our vacation with fun activities.
