Plain ol' Winter

 Happy New Year!

Wow, how can the first month of 2015 already be almost over?  We haven't been too busy lately which is nice especially after the busy holiday season.

Check out the beautiful quilt my Mom made me for Christmas.  This is one quilt with 2 beautiful and colorful sides.  It has wool batting inside so it is a very warm blanket for these chilly winter months.  Thank you MOM, I love it!

Last Saturday, we went to a Winter Wonderfest at Henry's school.  It was a fun get out of the house/FREE event.  Henry enjoyed the slime room best.

Henry and Frosty the Snowman (Ms. Linda, who he often speaks highly about).

Last weekend Henry and I started working on our dinosaur family puzzle.

It really is a family puzzle since some of the pieces are large, some pieces are medium and many pieces are small.  There are 400 pieces total.  Henry has already finished the large pieces section of the puzzle.  He thinks I need a lot of help with the smaller pieces.  Once you finish the puzzle there are "Find the difference" challenges too.  Henry really wants to know what he should be looking for now but I told him he has to wait until we finish the puzzle to find the differences.

I love puzzles so I'm pretty happy that Henry likes doing puzzles too.
