Christmas Part II & III

We started Christmas Eve out with making some sugar cookies.
Mmm...looks good Henry!

Later, we went to Aunt Debbie's house to celebrate Christmas Eve with the Werths.
 Henry and Max having fun.

Looks like Henry should have been the model for this sled.  We hope we can use Henry's new sled soon. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Werth.

Yikes, we almost forgot to put out some goodies for Santa and his reindeer.

 Our Christmas tree this year.

We were surprised when Henry had yet to come into our room by 7:15 AM on Christmas morning.  I got up and heard him reading to himself in his room.  Awe!

Henry is ready for stockings now!

Santa couldn't fit this scooter in Henry's stocking, woohoo!

This was Henry's most favorite gift this year.  Joe has been anxiously awaiting getting one of these for Henry for a couple of years now.  We finally found one that is easy for younger kids to do.
Once Henry figured it out he was busy at the table for a whole hour making Spirographs.  Joe and I both have Spirograph creations to hang at our desks when we return to work.

Lily and Jimmy checking out the Christmas morning aftermath.

Henry got some really fun new games for Christmas.  This is a fun balance game.

Henry was the winner (of course, he beats us often in games) of our first time playing Rivers, Roads & Rails.
It's a really fun game that we have since played 3 times.  Thankfully we have all won, phewee.  It is definitely NOT a weeknight game since it has taken us between 1 hour and 1.5 hours to play.  There can be up to 8 players.

Ahhhhh, there is a Minion loose in our house!  We hope there is only one!
Bee doo, bee doo!
