Sunday in Ohio was an action packed day for us. Henry was in boy heaven!
Henry and a Mike Wazowski cookie that matches his P.J.'s. You knew we couldn't pass up buying something from that Monsters University stand we saw at the grocery store.
We started our day at the Mill Hollow Cruisin' Car Show:
Come see thousands of muscle cars, hotrods, vintage and custom trucks, ‘vettes, vans and motorcycles, and more on Sunday from 10 am - 3 pm. This will be a car lovers heaven with thousands of cars 25 years or older on display.
Zack and Henry - a 1978 El Camino that was for sale!
I can picture these 2 cruisin' around in this car, vroom-vroom!
There really were A LOT of cars, an estimated 2,400. I'm still looking for the grand total.
The best find (good job Joe) was this classic tow truck! Henry's always liked tow trucks.
Grandpa and Henry taking a rest.
Enjoy the show...
I hope one version works. When the slide show is over, simply close it to return to the blog.

The car show was at Mill Hollow Park/Bacon Woods (Joe's favorite kind of woods). The Vermillion River runs right through it. It was nice to walk through parts of the river to cool off our feet. Henry really liked the walking throught the water part!
The boys enjoyed throwing rocks in the river too.
We were going to take a walk through part of the woods or as Henry would call it "a forest" but the little guys and (who am I kidding) us big people were rather tired after looking at all of the cars. We headed back to Grandpa and Grandma's house to take a rest before we enjoyed the rest of our day.
After Henry's nice nap, we went to what he was most excited about....
...a PLAYGROUND beach!!!
A beach was no longer enough for him once he found out there was a playground beach!
Daddy and Henry enjoying Lake Erie at the Lakeview Beach in Lorain.
During our trip Henry told Joe I, "it's huge-r than a bathtub" when he was talking about Lake Erie.
Henry discovered how much work goes into building sand castles.
The Lakeview beach water was pretty clear.
Henry really enjoyed this beach.
After the water and beach fun it was time for some playground fun, weeeeeee!
After the playground beach fun, we headed back home for dinner. Mmm...dinner was good, cheeseburgers (a Henry favorite) and grilled corn on the cob, delicious.
After dinner we headed back to a different beach in Vermillion to watch the sunset.
We thought it was a clear night. We almost missed the sunset.
Grandpa and Henry on the sidewalk to "nowhere".
Werth cousins: Nick (10), Alex (7.5), Zack (6) and Henry (3.5)
Before we left Monday morning the boys squeezed in some more baseball time.
Over the weekend Henry asked, "why do they play so much baseball around here?"
Henry did hit a couple homeruns though. He was super excited to tell me about them.
A warn out Henry on our way home!
A nice after lunch snooze.
Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Werth for everything. We had fun.
Henry enjoyed all the time spent with his cousins, Uncle Phil and Aunt Amy too.

Your two Ohio posts capture what summer for kids is all about: fun, sun, water, family and friends. It looks like a lot of fun and judging by Henry's appearance in the photo above the trip was a success. : )
