Road Trip to Central Iowa!

We took another short road trip this past weekend. This time we went out to central Iowa to visit with Jalene's family. Henry had a great time playing with his cousins and showing off how well he eats to his great grandmas.

Vroom, vroom...Henry continues to express his LOVE of cars or anything with wheels. He had fun driving around in this at the grocery store:
Luckily, the cart was smaller so it wasn't quite as akward as some of these "get-ups"!

Henry really enjoyed staying at my cousins house since they have a lot of toys. Chef Henry cooked us up a delicious breakfast one morning.
A good chef tastes his own cooking before serving, right?


Henry and Brenden became fast friends once Henry climbed the stairs to car/truck/tractor heaven better known as Brenden's bedroom.

Party animal Hank lost his pants!

On the way home we stopped at the Iowa 80 Truck Stop again which may become a ritual with Henry along. It's a decent place to stop since it has multiple food options, gas, pretty clean bathrooms and lots of space to roam around. The best part of all, for Henry anyways, is it has real trucks on display.
