A dream come true for Henry!
Henry was most fascinated by the GIANT tires on all of the trucks!

He also really liked all the doors on the firetruck. He thought he was strong enough to close them!

Henry in the back of the firetruck. The line for the front was pretty long.
We discovered that Henry wasn't very good at waiting in lines and he was not a happy camper after getting out of the trucks. At one point Henry was happily wandering around, pointing and laughing at all the big trucks. It was funny.Bad boy, Henry! Yikes, the back of a police car really is very uncomfortable.

Officer Henry looks much better!

The line for the weinermobile was pretty long so we didn't sit in that one!

Henry did enjoy dancing to some music the weirnermobile was playing though.

Mmm...Daddy's favorite! It is really, really good.

Farmer Hank!

Hi, Henry and Papaw!

Some of the other trucks at this FREE local park district event were a crane, a stretch limo, a work van, a dump truck and a mini-bus. The sun was shining and it was 80 degrees. Good thing the event was in the morning by the afternoon the temperature plummeted to the low 60's and it was cloudy. Later, after Henry's nap he was quite interested in his fire engine book and he was "chatting" a lot, saying "car" and "Vroom-Vroom"! He must have had fun!
Thanks Grandma, for finding out about this fun event! We're glad you and Papaw could join in on the fun too.
Wow,what an awesome event! I can't believe all the different vehicles they had. We've seen the weiner mobile twice since we've been out here and the kids are always quite amazed.
