Henry did really well in the car both ways. It's a 5.5 hour drive with no stops so for us it took just under 6.5 hours. Henry only took a 45 minute nap on the way there but on the way home he took a 1 hr and 20 minute nap. Both ways we were very lucky to have such a good boy for most of the drive.
Lunch break fun!
Henry is what you might call a car and truck boy fanatic! He smiled often as he watched all the semis and big trucks go by on the highway.Saturday morning Henry "particpated" in his first Easter Egg Hunt. To prevent Henry from literally be trampled, we held him back until after the huge rush of kids and parents went running to gather up as many eggs as they could. See the slide show for pictures of the "hunt"!
Easter Egg Hunt
After the egg hunt we went to the library in Vermilion which was recently renovated and includes lots of fun things for kids.

Henry really liked the little furniture they had at the library. He looked like a big boy sitting on it and Daddy looked like a giant.
They had a really neat fish tank that had "Nemo" and "Dori" fish in it. They also had these neat bubble tube things...

Henry enjoyed the little kitchen set especially once he discovered it had doors. He kept opening and closing the doors and putting stuff in the oven, fridge and freezer, then taking stuff out, etc.

A'hoy Captain Henry! The pirate ship was pretty cool!

The sun came out and really warmed up once we left the library. Too bad I didn't pack any short sleeved shirts or sandals to really enjoy the pleasant surprise.
Grandpa was excited to take Henry for a stroll down their street when we returned.

After Henry's nap we headed over to Uncle Phil's and Aunt Amy's house to play outside with the cousins. See why Henry literally spent most of his time in their garage...
He just sat in the car happy as a clam! Then he would climb out and open the hood and close the hood. Repeat, repeat, repeat! Later on we headed out to dinner to a local Mexican restaurant that was quite tasty. We discovered Henry likes spanish rice. Mmm...all the food was delicious!
HAPPY EASTER, HENRY!
(No the girl doll wasn't in his basket but the garbage truck was.)We put cheerios and corn chex inside of a few eggs for Henry. He took the eggs out, shook them and knew exactly what to do. POP...out flew the cereal, hahaha! He was surprised.

Later Henry's cousins & Phil and Amy came over for Easter dinner. After our early dinner Henry had lots of fun. He loved running around and around through the living room and kitchen being chased by his cousins or vice versa. Henry got so sweaty we had to take his shirt off. His hair was pretty nappy and sweaty too. Looks like both him and Nick got rosey cheeks from all that running.
