Henry has TWO firetrucks! He always gets really excited whenever we tell him this. It's hard to believe his next doctors appointment won't be until he's TWO unless he gets sick!
Henry's 18 month stats are:
Weight: 25.5 lbs
Height: 32.5"
Head Circumference: 19"
Henry is in the 50% for everything. Woohoo!
Henry is learning to eat with silverware.
So far, he's done okay. I actually saw him scoop a few peas up and ONE pea actually made it in his mouth. I think he likes his spork silverware best since he can stab(usually with Mommy's help) some things rather then scoop it.
Henry is adding more words to his vocabulary. His newest words are Car, Vroom Vroom, Kitty, Grandma and Grandpa (pronounced Gamma and Gampa). Oh, and the most favorite word of all for kids to learn NO! He just started that one this week, uh-oh! He also knows uh-oh so I guess we really are in trouble now!
Looks like we should have let Henry help us car shop! Henry continues to be really interested in Jimmy. He often lays his head down against Jimmy. He also pulls his tail...Meow! He is learning to just pet the kitty rather then grab at him. Lily is getting more "brave" around Henry but she still takes off running if he gets to close to her.
Henry loves to give kisses now, which mostly consists of air kisses. He's always been a good hugger mostly to his stuffed animals but now he has added "kissing" to his affections.
Henry also really LOVES watching our digital picture frame. He'll sit and watch for a good 5 to 10 minutes at times. Good thing he can climb up on the couches all by himself now.
The pictures of Henry eating with silverware look exactly like Joe and not because they're both messy eaters!
ReplyDeleteI love when the food falls off the spoon, they pick it up and put the food back on the spoon to try again instead of just putting the food in their mouth. He's doing great, silverware is tricky. Henry, it looks like you and Andy can hang out at the car shows with Papaw.
