It took over TWO years but it finally worked out (on January 2nd) for Henry to go sledding at our friends house. They have an awesome sledding hill (2 actually) in their yard.
Henry found out quickly why his sled says, "Snow Screamer" on it.
Per Henry, his sled is 3x faster than Liam's green sled.
Henry also said his sled goes 300 mph. Yikes, that is fast.
The ice covered snow must have helped too.
Scott and Joe had to stand at the bottom of this hill to stop the boys from sledding right through the brush into the small stream in the back yard. Normally there isn't any water in the stream at this time of year but due to all the rain there is water in it now. Scott and Liam found out the hard way...earlier in the week.
Julia (9 months) all ready to go outside.
Julia loves to go outside and get fresh air.

This is the 2nd hill on the other side of their house. See the mulch at the bottom of the picture? It's a good thing it didn't get put out in time as it worked great as a "barrier" to keep Henry and Liam from hitting the very large rock at the bottom of this hill. Liam had never made it to the rock in his green sled but in Henry's "Snow Screamer" sled they hit the mulch/rock every time.

Weeeeeee!
After all that sledding, we went inside to warm up with hot cocoa and holiday treats.
Hip, hip, hooray for our sledding visit! It was worth the wait.
The only injury was when Joe tried to stop Henry on one of his runs and Henry took him out. Joe took a header into the icey snow and ended up with a bloody lip, ouch!
Thanks to the Frickes for an awesome visit and a HUGE thanks to Scott for capturing all of the excitement.

Looks like lots of really big smiles.
