Happy New Year's from the Werths!
Henry enjoyed a Sprecher's root beer during our New Years at Noon celebration.
Luckily, his mustache did not get in the way.
Happy LEAP Year!
Henry is bothered by
this year being a Leap Year. He is most concerned about Leap year babies and
how they technically don't have a birthday every year.
We celebrated our 3rd Christmas on Christmas day.
Henry and I woke up around 7:30 on Christmas morning. Joe woke up just before 8 which was good because we were only going to give him until 8 to sleep.
Santa delivered the one and only thing Henry asked for this year. Yes, Henry only asked for a football. We will continue to enjoy this non-greediness while we can.
Henry could hardly wait to give us the gift he made for us at school. He asked several times if we wanted to open it early. We told him we wanted to wait until Christmas.
He made us a nice ornament. He said it was hard to get all the ribbons inside of the ornament. On the back it says "Henry - 1st Grade 2015" Henry's picture on the front is a sticker.
Oh, he is soooooo cute, a Little Beary.
Henry LOVES his Big Beary (a pillow pet). Joe and I got the idea to look for a mini version when we saw a display at a store. Luckily, we found one and it arrived in time.
Henry is so excited to have a whole "bear family" now.
We saw this and just had to get it. Too bad it doesn't work much at all.
In Henry's mind, we celebrated Christmas for a 4th time on the Saturday after Christmas. Our final Christmas celebration was with our good friends who were visiting from North Carolina.
Thanks Kelly and Jonathan for our gifts. It was great to visit with you two.
Henry was busy building the Mystery Machine on Sunday afternoon.
We hope everybody enjoyed the holiday season.
Cheers to a happy and healthy 2016!
