Big Truck Show!

This past Saturday morning we went to a Big Truck Show, a touch a truck event put on by a local park district. We went with Grandpa and Grandma Werth since they were in town visiting for the weekend.
The park it was at was not far from Aunt Debbie's house.  So, we were able to walk there which was great so we could enjoy the BEAUTIFUL weather even more. Henry was getting excited when he saw 2 big cranes on the way there.

After waiting in line to climb up on a bulldozer Henry told us he wanted to "drive" the Garbage Truck. It was his turn to climb aboard the bulldozer but you can't argue to well with an almost 3 year old, so off we went to wait in line for the garbage truck.

Next up, another one of Henry's favorites, a road roller and it's the right kind too!

Look out, here comes officer Hank and his partner.

Henry and Grandpa got tired waiting in line to climb in the ambulance.

All better now.

What a serious school bus driver, Henry is.

Last but definitely not least, Henry really liked sitting in one of the cranes. Too bad, Henry just missed having his picture taken by a local newspaper. He was next in line, darn-it!

Some of the other big trucks included a fire truck, quite a few tractors (farm and construction types) and a dump truck.

Happily, heading back to Debbie's, eating gold fish.
