On our way out to Central Iowa for a delayed family holiday party with Jalene's family, we stopped at Henry's favorite place, the Iowa 80 Truck Stop.
Contrary to popular belief, we haven't run into anybody scary yet!

This time we discovered that you can sit inside of the semi's! Wow, what fun! There is one semi with a HUGE trailer that has a pretty Iowa themed painting on the side.
Then there are 2 semi cabs only.
The full size semi. Next time I'll get a picture of the painted trailer!
This semi cab was on a slow moving turn-table. "It's moving, Mommy!"
As soon as Joe helped Henry into the cab, Henry put one hand on the steering wheel and the other on the gear shifter. How did he know what to do?
Inside this blue semi cab, Henry told us to shut the door. We did, but not before I snapped a few pictures. We couldn't see him at all when we shut the door.
What fun for Henry. It was his very own "Touch a Truck" day!
