Having fun!

Wow, I'm getting behind on updating this blog regularly these days.

Henry and I played at a park while Daddy ran to the grocery store.
We've been outside enjoying the GREAT weather we have been having lately. I can't believe it's already been warm enough for sandals. Let's hope this weather continues...or at least that we don't get anymore snow until the end of the year! My Mom mentioned it has snowed on her birthday before which is in late April, YIKES!

Pretty chairs and cute boys outside a Cupcake Shop.
On St. Paddy's Day, (we all had our green on) we enjoyed the outdoors by going for a stroll in Geneva. To our great surprise we also got to see a small Lego show complete with running trains.

For the local's, see the Little Traveler, on the left?

There was a donut truck collision on the corner, the Krispie Kreme truck was hit by a Dunkin Donuts truck and there were donuts spilled out on the street! A dream come true for our nephew George!

Here's the Court House, I recently served 7 days on a Jury at. The inside of this courthouse is very historical and neat looking. Lots of beautiful murals on the wall of local towns in the area. Let's hope I don't have to see the inside of it again for awhile! This was the neatest/biggest lego structure at the show.

This section wasn't a replica of Geneva. In front of Henry and I is a harbor scene complete with sailboats and swimmers in the water.

We didn't know there was such a thing as Lego Monkeys and banana trucks too.
Henry liked the "bunkey's", what he calls monkeys.

The train station is to the right behind Joe and Henry. The Little Owl is to the left.

There was another section that had all kinds of different trains like the Harry Potter train (I don't know the name of that one), a train with Winnie the Pooh characters on it, an Easter themed train, a train with Sponge Bob and his friends on it. It was a fun display to check out that had lots of well known characters and all kinds of "action" going on throughout the set-up in addition to the moving trains.

Today, we played outside a lot too.
Henry still loves his firetrucks! He now has an outside firetruck and an inside firetruck.

Later, Papaw and Nana came over to visit and for dinner too. Henry was really excited that Papaw drove his Classic yellow truck over and that it was outside in our driveway.

No, that is NOT a Cardinals hat on Henry's head!

  1. That Legos display is awesome. I've never seen anything like that in person. I think it would be very interesting.

I love the pic of Henry and Papaw in the truck. Give it a few years and Henry will be driving Papaw. :)
