We woke up on the morning of New Year's Eve and found a dead mouse on a rug in our foyer. Woohoo, the mouse has been caught and lost its head in the process, YUCK! I'll spare you the other details unless you contact me directly.
Thanks to all who shared their mouse catching stories and tips; lets hope we won't need them again for a long, long time!
For New Year's this year my sister Jennie and George (the party planner) decided to celebrate with a New Year's at Noon party complete with a balloon drop, Sprite for the bubbly and Mac-N-Cheese for the main course of the feast!

Spectators waiting for the balloon drop!
Zack anxiously waiting for the count down to drop the balloons.
Advice for future balloon drops...Don't put the balloons in a nylon bag. There was way to much static which caused the big drop to be more of a balloon trickle. Maybe a box would work better! Oh well the kids had fun!
The party was a great idea for kids and great for adults too since we still have the whole day to recover and party again if you so desire!
Andy the party animal on the couch. It was a fun party, thanks for coming! We did more balloon dropping later in the day too. Good idea about the box next time. Hope Henry is feeling better soon.
