Spring Break - Part 3: More Myrtle Beach Fun

March 29, 2016
Good morning Myrtle Beach!
We had a BIG day planned for our 2nd day in Myrtle Beach.

Our little tourist!

First stop:

Yikes, 2 sharks swam right over us in the Under the Sea reef section.

Henry thought it was quite funny when Joe's feet would get ahead of the rest of his body on the very slowly moving glide-path through the Under the Sea section.

I wouldn't want to run into a saw fish under the sea.

We all touched a jellyfish. You could only touch with 2 fingers and you had to touch the top of the jellyfish.

The lights would change colors in this tank. It made the jellies look yellow, hot pink and white. It was cool.

 Japanese Sea Nettle

After much thought, Henry picked a stingray stuffed animal from the souvenir shop. He named him Flappy. Flappy is his new most favorite "guy". Flappy goes everywhere we will let him go. Stingrays really are a cool creature. If you see their mouth it looks like they are always smiling.

After our fun morning at the aquarium we checked out the rest of Broadway at the Beach. We could have spent the whole day there. Wow, there was so much to do and see and there were many shops and real stores (not just touristy) stores to check out. At one point, we had to bribe Henry so we could stay longer. It worked.
This was a fun store we stopped in, The Stupid Factory (seriously, that was the name of the store).

This store had some pretty funny t-shirts.We could have bought many t-shirts there. Too bad, we had already bought a couple t-shirts at another store. Plus, since I forgot to bring any shirts (they were all hanging in the guest room closet at K&J's) to Myrtle Beach; I had to buy a couple t-shirts. Oops, guess I really was trying to pack less to bring down to Myrtle Beach.

 Scary Vulture!

 Oink, oink!

Meow!

Later, we had to get back to mini golfing.

Henry and a partial view of Myrtle Beach.

We played both courses at Jungle Lagoon and the lady gave us a sweet deal. She only charged us $25 total to play both courses. We could have kept playing since our deal was an unlimited deal but we were tired and hungry.

The scores are in:
We were all very close on the first course! Yes, I actually WON on the 1st course!!!! Wow!
Good thing I kept of all of our score cards!

We ended our night with ice cream and a sunset stroll on the beach.

Good night, Myrtle Beach.

I wish I would have taken one more picture on this day...

We were taking the elevator up to our room and Henry stood in the middle of many others on the elevator. Henry was wearing his Hawaiian shirt, floppy hat, his sunglasses were hanging on the neck of his shirt, a bag of rainbow colored popcorn tucked under one arm and Flappy (his new stingray stuffed animal) tucked under his other arm. I poked Joe to take a look too. He looked like a total miniature tourist. It was great. The only thing he was missing was a camera hanging around his neck. I'm still mad that I didn't take a picture of him once we were off the elevator. We were too busy continuing to enjoy the sunset.
