Spring Break - Part I

 Werths 1st Spring Break with Henry! We went to NC and SC!

 Henry loves the moving walkways.

Henry's 2nd time flying. Cedric our traveling gnome went on spring break too.

We flew on Southwest from Midway to Raleigh, NC. It was a nice short flight compared to Henry's first flight from Chicago to Los Angeles 2 years ago.

 

 Happy Easter!

 Henry was happy the Easter bunny still knew where to find him.

We stayed at our good friends, Kelly and Jonathan's house most of the time during our visit.

Great job, Kelly on the Easter bunny pancakes.

 Kelly and Jonathan weren't going to let us miss out on decorating Easter eggs.

Later on Easter night, we split up and the boys enjoyed a "guys night" and the girls enjoyed a "girls night"!

After our relaxing pedicures we went to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 at a fancy dinner and a movie place. One more of Kelly's friends joined us. We all enjoyed girly drinks with our dinner and we all thought the movie was pretty good and funny too.

The "GUYS night" out was pretty exciting. 

 Henry went to his 1st NHL hockey game.

The Carolina Hurricanes vs. the New Jersey Devils

Joe and Henry were really looking forward to sharing these pulled pork nachos.

Mmm...they were really good, Jonathan was right!

The Hurricanes won 3 to 2! Woohoo!

After the game, Henry went down on the ice and had a chance to shoot a puck in the goal using a full size hockey stick.

 In Henry's words:
"Went to a Hurricanes vs. Devils game and I got a practice puck. At the end of the game I went on the ice and shot a goal in the net from 20 feet away."

Go, Henry go!

Great idea, Jonathan for a "GUYS night"! Good seats. Good eats. Great fun!
