Our visit to Vermilion, OH is never complete without going to Granny Joe's, Brummer's Chocolate Store and the beach.
This year we enjoyed a couple new adventures...
We paddled our way around a small lake in Wellington, OH.
We saw birds and turtles. We also saw a loon catch his lunch. Unlike others who were out paddling we did not see any snakes, which was fine with me. This was a fun and free adventure.
Henry stole Grandpa's hat for a little while.
Henry also enjoyed mini golfing for the FIRST time at Sweeties Golf Land in Cleveland.
Henry tied me (we gave him a few mulligans). He was so excited that he tied Mommy. As usual, Joe won by a lot. Grandma was an excellent score keeper. There were 2 courses here, an easy and an expert course. Henry still talks about going back to play the expert course. Just like Joe and I he is a mini golf lover.
Sweeties candy warehouse is located right next store. An ice cream and soda shoppe is coming soon...We will have to go back and check it out when we return to play the expert course.
What a great combo deal, miniature golf and a candy warehouse!
We didn't see an Oh Henry truck. If there is one, we must get one.
Another highlight of our visit was going to the Mill Hollow Car Show in Vermilion.
Henry and Zack were thinking they could drive this sweet little convertible.
Vroom, vroom!
What a treat, the owner of this car let the kids sit in it!
There were a lot of really NICE rides at this car show.
I have lots more pictures but I'll hold back!
It was another HOT summer day in Ohio so we didn't stay too long.
We had to hit the beach again!
Henry and "Uncle Ocho"!
Henry very adamantly argued with us many times that Ocho could not be his Uncle. Hahaha!
Cousins: Henry (5.5), Zack (8), Nick (12) and Alex (9.5)
Another great visit!
