HAPPY SPRING!
Henry and his Lorax "Truffula" tree.
We're not sure what kind of plant his class really is growing.
We went to a Chicago Wolves hockey game with our friends and Papaw & Nana. They played against the Rockford Ice Hogs which is a Chicago Blackhawks affiliate. The Wovles lost 4-3 but they tried to make an exciting comeback in the last few minutes of the game.
We headed to Iowa last weekend for my Mom's side of the family annual Christmas party. The party was delayed this year due to so many of us being sick when it was originally planned.
What a happy piggy we found at the recently renovated food court in the Iowa 80 truck stop.
LOVE this picture. Henry posed himself.
During our last visit to Iowa this truck was being re-painted so we couldn't get our annual picture with it.
Henry - 15 months
Hank's Hardware is another favorite stop for us during our visits to Iowa.
Our big purchase during this stop was a couple of Oh Henry candy bars.
We tried to buy a Hank bobble head but since there wasn't a price on it, not even in the computer they wouldn't sell it to us, boohoo.
Henry eating his first Oh Henry candy bar.
Or as Henry likes to call it, an "Oh Me" candy bar.
These candy bars are hard to find otherwise I'm sure Henry would have had one before now.
Grandma Powers with many of her great grand kids. She has 22 great grand kids total.
It's tough to get everybody to look all at once. Forget about smiling!
Our "bug"!
Henry was really excited to swim in this indoor/outdoor pool again.
A couple of silly Minions made it to our party.
Here goes Henry again with his new picture pose.
I wanted him to stand in front of the moose so you could see him better.
You can see who won that battle.
