Mother's Day and More...!

I got myself a new camera for Mother's Day!  It's faster, has way more zoom, better picture and much better video quality then my old camera.  As a result, I'm a little behind on our blog as I have been busy checking out all the new features on my camera.

Great action shot taken by Daddy.

Grandpa recently stopped by for a visit on his way back from Memphis, TN.
Henry and Jimmy enjoyed story time with Grandpa.

Watch out for Officer Hank this summer!
He had to have his police jeep and helicopter in the picture too.

Henry was so excited about the present he picked out for me this year.
He got me a balloon and smiley face and star stickers.  Cute!

In the late afternoon on Mother's Day we went to Papaw and Nana's to do a little bit more flower shopping.  (Henry and Daddy had already stopped by Papaw and Nana's that morning and surprised them with some yummy bakery goodies.)

Henry was happy to help with the planting of his flowers.
Henry commented how dirty it is to plant flowers.
Henry and his flowers at Nana's for this summer.

Now, it was time to plant our flowers.

Love it!

Our FIRST flowers.  I know Henry will help keep our flowers well watered this summer.

Do you like our new landscaping?
Ha, those aren't rocks, it's HAIL!
Henry said, "Don't go out there it's dangerous!"
We had some pretty big hail on May 20th!  We had 2 rounds of it too.  The 2nd round seemed to have bigger hail.  Luckily our cars were safely parked in our garage.  Our flowers survived pretty well. We haven't noticed any damage which is shocking considering how loud some of the hail was hitting our windows and the roof.  Our association takes care of the exterior of our house so that's good too.

Look who went to the dentist recently, King Henry!  Henry told us he was only going to wear his crown in the car. Hahaha.  I went to get him out of the car and out he jumped with his crown on.  I didn't want to argue with him so away we went.  Henry was happy to go to the dentist.  Prior to our appointment, he kept asking me when we were going to the dentist.  It's still "fun" for him as he has only had a few cleanings and a clean check-up.  We hope he inherits Daddy's teeth NOT Mommy's!  Then he won't mind the dentist at all.
