Farewell and Happy Summer!

Tonight we said farewell to our good friend who has moved to North Carolina!  His wife, has already been out in NC for a whole month now, waaaaaahhhhhh.  We will miss our good friends greatly!

We went to say our goodbyes over ice cream at Oberweis, mmm...!  Henry really liked the Birthday Cake ice cream.  After Henry ate his ice cream he was having a grand ol' time playing with his balloon.  Laughing and giggling away!  He definitely had some sugar to burn off!

When it was time to go, Jonathan showed Henry how his mother-in-laws car turns into a convertible.  A very amazed Henry was smiling the whole time while it "transformed."  He thought it was really cool.  The back seat is only big enough for a kid to sit in...too bad they need a carseat!  We had to let Henry sit in the convertible after witnessing the "grand transformation"!

There they go....!  Good bye Jonathan (and Kelly)!  We already miss you! 

We can't wait to come visit you guys!  Apple picking won't be the same without you two!

 

Last Saturday, we went back to the FREE splash park we discovered last year.  The water was pretty cold espcially since the temperature never reached 90 degrees like it was predicted to do.  Henry and Joe still had fun.

After the splash park, we had to stop at DQ since it was right there on our way home.  Henry liked his Dilly Bar and didn't make too much of a mess eating it.  After DQ we also had to hit Gen Hoe which was right down the street, for their super yummy pork fried rice and egg rolls, mmmm....what a good day!

 

Wiped out Henry and Bob.  This was on Sunday afternoon.  Henry took forever to actually go to sleep.  Henry was probably too excited about playing in the sprinkler.  Water fun two days in a row; summer is AWESOME!

Yes, we finally got the sprinkler positioned right to water the new tree and let the kids have fun in it.
