A night out!

It finally happened, Joe and I finally went to see a concert together. We think it may have been only our second one which seems odd to me considering how much Joe likes music. I guess it's something we always say we're going to do but then never do it.

We went to see Los Lobos at the Paramount Theater in Aurora on Thursday night. What a beautiful and recently restored theater it is.

As we were walking in we actually ran into some friends of my family. Dale was playing hookie from the bowling league he and my Dad are in on Thursday nights.

It was a good concert, a great band to see live.

The night before we "prepared" for the concert by listening to one of their CDs and dancing around the family room with Henry. It was fun. The dancing after dinner idea might become an evening ritual.

Thanks again, to Jen for babysitting. We don't know who wore out who more. Jen said Henry fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

The next morning Henry told Joe that Jen went "bye-bye", then he went and picked up his phone

and said, "Hi Jen!"
