Brrr, winter really has arrived now. We still haven't had the right kind of snow to build a snowman though. Henry's really into snowmen lately so we're hoping to build one (his first one) sometime this winter.

Well, Henry really should have a strong immune system when he officially starts school. His latest ailment is (he's still recovering) pneumonia. It was localized to his right lung so it wasn't the worst case scenario but it still knocked our little guy down for a few days, four to be exact. He is feeling much better but still on medication until the end of next week. His cough has improved greatly. He returned to daycare on Thursday this week and had two great days. He was missed and I'm sure he was excited to be back too.
This was taken the day before he was sent home from school.
It's amazing how quickly they pick up things but they usually bounce back quickly too.
When I picked Henry up at school today he looked like he had "whiskers" on one side of his face.
It was brighter before I wiped his face after dinner. Yesterday, when I picked him up he looked like he had a "new" birthmark on his neck. Really it was brown marker.
Tonight we were being silly taking timed pictures. Henry said "CHEESE" every time. He had great smiles too.
The next picture, Joe suggested we do the "George" smile:

| How'd we do? I think Joe nailed it! Hahaha! |
We laugh everytime we see George's picture. It's definitely a classic phase that all kids go through at some point. Once again, Henry smiled great for this picture.

Our serious silly photos. Yup, Henry's strainer hat still fits!
Until next time...!
Ha, ha! I love these silly photos. How fun! I'm so sorry to hear Henry had pnemonia. Scary stuff. I'm glad to hear he's recovering (he looks healthy and happy in these family photos!).

Poor George, looks like he will never live down his cheesy photo smile stage. :) Joe did nail it, good job. Glad Henry is doing better, he's been through the wringer this winter.
ReplyDeleteLove the family shots. I love how Henry is all smiles regardless of the parents expressions. These will be classic Werth photos!
