Mouse Hunt Update!

In case you were wondering...

We have NOT seen the mouse since last Saturday....hmmm....does that mean Jimmy really did catch it again? We hope so since our traps are still empty! I guess Christmas came early for Jimmy this year! Woohoo, 3 cheers for Jimmy. Let's hope we don't find a really dead mouse some day when we move, yuck!

Check out our toddler and cat friendly Christmas tree this year...
Our tree isn't very sturdy and some of you may remember our first Christmas with Jimmy in the house...we came home from work to find that he knocked down our tree and started taking the lights and ornaments off of it too. One string of lights was halfway around the kitchen table.

Here's part of a page from my Christmas scrapbook the year the "Grinch" visited our house (2008):
Awe, Jimmy tried to look innocent but he was hiding upstairs and literally crying about what he did. Meanwhile Lily was lounging around downstairs like it was perfectly normal to have a Christmas tree knocked down inside your house! We got some good laughs out of that incident!

So, this year we decided to play it safe and it is working quite well especially since Henry can't get into the presents under the tree. Poor Lily she really enjoys sitting under the tree so she is the one being punished this year. Oh well maybe if she catches a mouse she will be rewarded.
