He wrestles with his Tiger buddy now!
Henry continues to keep us quite busy and entertained with all that he does:
- He loves to nod his head "yes" which he usually does 3 times in a row, the first nod is slow and then the next 2 are faster and then he leaves his chin down and grins at you!
- His bottom front 4th tooth on the left is finally coming in and he is also getting his 1st molar in on the right side with that one, the tooth count will be NINE!
- Henry also eats some real food now. So far he eats anything we give him. We think his favorites are bananas, cantalope, peas, meatballs and gold fish.
- Henry continues to love music. He nods his head and now moves his body to any beat even to music in commercials. It has to be a peppy or fast beat though he doesn't like slow stuff or Polka music yet.
Standing in his crib is also a new and exciting thing to do!
- Henry continues to crawl all over the place quickly and with real determination. You can hear his hands hitting the carpet or the hardfloor. He also loves to push books or trucks around while crawling.
- Henry has started to "cruise" the furniture which he mastered over Labor Day weekend.
- Henry learned how to crawl up and down one step at the Hested cabin (over Labor Day weekend) and then easily transferred those skills to our entire staircase at home. Now we are really envisous of those who live in ranch homes!
Our cats new reality!Jalene's college friend Christy came over with her 3.5 month old son Liam to visit one day. Liam and Henry must have called each other before hand to plan what to wear:
Over Labor Day weekend we went to the cabin so Joe could enjoy his most favorite event of the year: the Pork Roast in Bellevue, IA. Mmm, the pork is soooo good and Joe loves the German Potato Salad. Henry liked the pork too, smart boy!
Our long weekend at the cabin included a nice boat ride on the mighty Mississippi River where Henry was a co-captain for part of the ride too.
We can't believe summer is already over but Fall is our favorite time of year so we welcome it with our arms wide open!
Great update Geek! Henry has overtaken the tiger. Looks like he's ready to start running soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Dude, Wow, what an update! I love all the pictures of Henry. I could just eat him up. So cute! Emma can't believe he's crawling. She's probably disappointed she didn't get to teach him like she is convinced she taught Andrew to crawl!
