Well, I've finally done it...I've finally broken down and decided to start a blog, which was strongly suggested by some of you who shall remain nameless...you know who you are! I, actually both Joe and I, are quite proud that we have NOT broken down and jumped on the bandwagon in joining Facebook. So, you will have to be satisfied with this site instead. We look forward to sharing many pictures (hopefully some videos too) of Henry and his progress each month. Hopefully, I'll post more often but I can't make any promises!
We can't believe it, but it really is true Henry is already 3 months old!
Henry's done quite a bit in just 3 months:
- He's experienced his first Halloween (no trick or treating since he was only a few weeks old and it was a typical IL Halloween--cold and crappy)
- He celebrated his first Thanksgiving
- He's met both of Jalene's sisters and their families which is a pretty big deal since they live in Texas and Georgia. Thanks for coming to visit Buckley's and Swayne's, we miss you!
- He celebrated his first Christmas which included many celebrations with family in IL with the Werth's and Hested's and his first road trip to celebrate in central IA with Jalene's extended family which included meeting the rest of his great grandparents
- He had his first photo taken with Santa at a mall
- He's had his first cold
- He continues to "agoo" and smile alot and is finding his voice now with much louder sounds
- He loves to be "busy". He constantly kicks and waves his arms around every chance he gets
- He most recently started grabbing things, although most likely not intentionally yet
- He does put his hands together and moves his fingers about..which Joe says looks like Henry is "plotting"
- He loves to get "naked" and have his diaper changed
One thing Henry does NOT do yet is sleep through the night. He's stuck in a rut of sleeping between 3 - 5 hrs between feedings. Oh well he'll get there some night, I just hope it is sooner rather then later!

Woo hoo! Glad to see that you got the blog up and running...looks great! Henry is pretty cute...3 months may have passed, but before you know it it'll be a year!

ReplyDeleteHi to Henry from Grandma and Grandpa in Florida. We miss seeing him. Grandma will call for a play date as soon as she gets home. It was fun to see all the pictures.
